Dear Parents and Students,
Thank you for your interest in Center Christian Academy. It is wonderful that God has brought us together in this great adventure of learning. CCA provides an educational program that upholds a standard of academic excellence with its foundation firmly based on God’s Word. The training of our children spiritually, morally, and academically is of the utmost importance and is our ultimate objective. We also strive to cultivate a patriotic spirit in each child.
Center Christian Academy has a half-day preschool (K4) enrichment program that fosters your child's physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual development through sound educational practices consistent with Biblical principles. Our program meets the needs of those who are 4 years old on or before August 31st.
With hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities, we will target all aspects of early childhood development while emphasizing the love of Jesus Christ. The exposure children receive to Bible, phonics, numbers, art, music and movement, books and reading, physical education, and science provides a wealth of experiences for the children on which to build a solid educational foundation. After K4 Graduation, children will be able to count, recognize colors, know the alphabet, speak the basic sounds and blend of phonics, and READ. Our goal is to provide the highest quality program where loving kindness, gentleness, consistency, safety, and security are of utmost importance.
We trust you will capture the spirit that drives this ministry to serve Christ and honor Him in all we do for His glory. If you would like more information or would like to tour the campus, please contact the school office at (336) 283-5077. May the Lord lead, guide, and direct you wisely as you prayerfully consider Center Christian Academy.
Sincerely,
Kaitlyn Berrier, Director
The mission of Center Christian Academy is to educate students in the spirit of God’s word and to equip them with holistic learning skills, Christian service skills, and leadership skills so our students will be able to impact the world for Christ.
Center Christian Academy seeks to be a school of spiritual influence characterized by academic excellence and vibrant Christian growth where students are encouraged to flourish as they develop their God-given talents.
We hold that Christian education is a mandate from God for the Christian family (Matt. 28: 18- 20). Because of Scripture verses like Proverbs 19:27, 22:6, Deut. 6:6-9, and Col. 2:8, we feel we must provide an atmosphere more conducive to the precepts of the Bible and be in harmony with parental admonition.
We support parents that teach their children morals, such as truthfulness, purity, honesty, patriotism, faithfulness, and a high regard for all moral standards. Every subject is taught in light of Biblical truth. We accept God’s Word as the final authority. CCA is a ministry and a part of Center Church of Welcome. The school exists because of our church, and we operate in harmony with our other church ministries.
The curriculum at Center Christian Academy is chosen with much prayer and research. Nothing is to be presented to the students that could undermine their faith. All truth is God’s truth; therefore, every subject taught must have biblical principles at its core. At CCA, we will use the Abeka Curriculum.
Abeka’s preschool curriculum features a traditional approach to teaching and learning, cross-subject integration, spiral review, and plenty of hands-on activities. The program is developed from a Christian worldview, planting seeds of faith in children throughout the year. Abeka is an age-appropriate preschool curriculum that considers the differences in motor skills and cognitive abilities among preschoolers. With Abeka, they will experience early success at realistic learning milestones.
Christian education is an alliance of the Christian home, the Bible-believing local church, and the school. Center Christian Academy's purpose is to assist the home and the church, never to usurp their authority. We must provide a support structure that helps to form and nurture vibrant Christian citizens.
